When you order with Trans Supply, everything is made to be simple and clear cut so there are no issues. However, problems can always arise by strange circumstances, so below is a list of circumstances and the methods we need our customs to follow in those circumstances.Shipping Contact
There always needs to be a shipping contact when an order gets delivered, with a phone number at which that contact can be reached during normal delivery hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). This is especially important for addresses with restricted access such as Air Force bases or work zones. In the event of a re-delivery charge you will be billed for the re-delivery if your shipping contact cannot be reached and/or proper delivery instructions were not received.
Unexpected Shipping Costs
These can occur if your delivery location is considered restricted access, residential, or a military address by the shipping company and Trans Supply was not informed by the customer of this special designation. Most orders will be commercial and have a loading dock, so no extra shipping costs will be incurred. If you do not have a loading dock or forklift or any sort of way of unloading a shipment, extra shipping charges can occur. If the extra shipping charges are incurred because Trans Supply was not informed of a customer's special shipping designation or lack of tools to unload a shipment, Trans Supply will have to bill the customer.
